By accessing or using YapoeY Finance ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice; continued use after changes means you accept them.

2. The Service is provided "AS IS"

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any calculations, exchange rates, AI categorizations, or financial figures shown are accurate or up to date.

3. No financial advice

YapoeY Finance is a personal finance tracking tool. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, tax, legal, accounting, investment, or any other professional advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Always consult a qualified professional before acting on any information you see in the Service.

4. Your data and your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any data you enter or import. The Service may use third-party AI providers (such as Google Gemini) to categorize transactions; AI output may be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any AI-generated data. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall YapoeY, its operator, its contributors, or any affiliated parties be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, savings, business opportunities, goodwill, or any other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In any case, our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed one US dollar (USD $1).

6. No liability for financial loss

We are not responsible for any financial loss, missed payment, incorrect payment, tax mistake, missed deadline, regulatory issue, or any other negative outcome that may result from using or relying on the Service. The Service is a personal hobby project and should not be relied on for anything important without independent verification.

7. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice or cause. You may stop using the Service at any time.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YapoeY, its operator, and contributors from any claim, demand, loss, or damages arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the user's place of residence to the extent required by mandatory local law, and otherwise without reference to any choice of law principles.
